Hike in the humid tropical jungle, swim in the turquoise ponds, or wander through the visitor center of Las Escobas River and Trails and promote the conservation of this protected area as well as the economic development of the local communities that live there.

One of the areas non-governmental organization FUNDAECO has preserved is located on the east side of Cerro San Gil mountains and is a protected spring reserve. It has nature trails, with bridges and wooden platforms, reach several small cascades and turquoise colored pools where you can take a cool swim and enjoy the lush tropical vegetation that surrounds them. The trails are also ideal for birdwatching or just sit and enjoy the tranquility.
